I called 7 different times after we checked out, left my phone number and still no response or ability to see a manager. The next two times I tried to talk to a manger, there was none there. to a new room and shower so I did not have time to talk. Had another meeting to go to so Had to move all of our clothes etc. When I got back to the room at about 4 and a manager was there and changed us to another room and seemed very impatient with me like i was the problem or late to change rooms. I left early (6:30) and the desk said there was no manager there. They said their is no manager on duty and that I could talk to one the next day. I drove to the hotel and they said they did not have a 2 bed room, just one that had a single bed and a pullout couch (that is why the app said my room was not ready). They said oh, come in your room is ready. I finally called the hotel to figure out the problem. I had to go in the clothes I had been in all day. I wanted to be in the room as soon as possible to go to dinner with some business contacts. When I checked the App at 3 PM it said my room was not ready. i was not too worried about it so I just let it go. It stated that I couldn't pick my room like normal. Like normal with the Hilton App, I tried to check in through the app. I had reserved a 2 bed bedroom months in advance. I stayed here with family on a business trip. They changed me to a new room and thankfully this time we got the king, away from the elevator like we reserved and requested. When I told them it had doubles and not the king, I was asked "Does that matter?" Well, yes it does. They did help us change rooms - but - when we got there it was a double bed room, not a king like we reserved. We had to go back down to the lobby with our stuff and ask for a new room. The person checking me in seemed to be in training and needed assistance from her partner, which is fine - but - when we got up to our room, it was directly across from the elevator and had one of those doors that didn't fit. When we returned for our second night we had a very different check-in experience. We also noticed that the entry doors to the rooms across from the elevator have a large gap. Another thing we noticed in this hotel location is that many doors don't fit! There was a sizeable gap in the bathroom door when closed. The room is huge so while the dresser with the TV on it is centered in the room, it is not lined up with either the bed or sofa and doesn't pivot. The bathroom sink is not in the bathroom and right across form the king bed. He had us setup quickly and when we got to our room is was away from the elevators as requested. The first night we had a nice check-in with Will who was great. While moving in and out of Phoenix we stayed as the Biltmore location on two nights separated by a few days away. We typically stay at Hampton Inns on our many travels as they usually provide a very consistent experience.
